Teams in Asia – What is the difference between The Asia football scene and Europe?

Teams in Asia. Wow, where do you start?

Teams in Asia. Obviously there are massive cultural differences but its too easy stereotype players and communities.

Technical

Teams in Asia. Asia massive place and the differences between North East Asia and South East Asia are considerable.

Japan has had a system in place and South Korea is no too far behind in their youth development but all players now are technically excellent but like all players the difference is the decision making and I believe Asia is a little behind Europe in this area.

Physical

Again South Korea and Japan are more physical but still behind Europe.

Leagues

The Thai Premier League is probably one of the most ambitious, over the last few years there has been a change in type of players they have recruited. Gone are the days of buying the past in foreigner. The players are younger and hungrier and clubs are looking at their sell on value.

Corruption

Always a big issue in Asian Football. Corruption in Asia is weakening but still exist in football. The South East Asia leagues are plagued by this a lot

China

The new powerhouse of world football. The next 5 years will be very interesting to see where it goes. They have the money behind them but do they have the culture and history that fans lean to to kick on. I am 50/50 at the moment and it will be interesting to see over the next 5 years.

AFS is a platform for players aged 16-29 hoping to showcase their talents and earn a professional contract in one of the major Asian Football Leagues
