BECOME PRO – SOCCER TRIALS ADVICE

Soccer Trials  – DAY 2 OF BECOME PRO

This will be tips, advice and real time experience of how to become a Pro footballer and prepare for soccer trials. We would do videos as well so make sure you check out our Instagram page and youtube videos.

I have tried to create this blog with the realising players who are following have studies, work or both so as a an employee of Premier Football UK, i have to manage my time to keep the bossess happy ?

DAY 1

6:00 am – Gym

This session today was based on building a strong core. I believe a strong core helps players develop muscles to prevent injuries. The sped of the game of the game is obvious but i think its the slow to fast changes in the games that cause injuries. So a strong base is vital. Although this session worked on all parts of the body, i think for any aspiring footballer they need to work abs, butt and hamstrings, there are some great sessions on the internet.

8:00 am – Breakfast

I am trying to keep off the bread as i believe there are better alternatives to get the carbs in. I wanted to get some brown rice and white rice doesn’t release energy as well. Unfortunately i could not find any so i got some whole wheat bread and avocado.

There are some great people to follow on Instagram to help with diets for an aspiring player. I recommend Ben Coomber.

9:00 am – 12:00 am – work ?

12:00 – 13:00 – Lunch

I had in my meal plan to include a protein shake but then i watched this: https://youtu.be/kCfPMkPagnk

I think its important to research anything before adding to your diet.

I had a salmon salad and fruit, which is a healthy and tasty alternative.

13:00 – 17:00 – work

Coaching

19:00 – 7 a side football.

This was a better standard that the night before and physically demanding. I have developed Plantar Facisitis from playing on hard ground a lot.

Its a common injury but highlights the effects of playing on hard ground and not strecthing properly. I now need to work on improving my flexiabilty in my calf muscles.

I stretched but no ice bath.

I had dinner and tried to get the protein in again. So got stuck in to a whole chicken.

24:00 – BED
