One Day Trial
If you or someone you know are looking to play professional football in the UK then look no further. Premier Football UK now offers a one day trial event aimed at discovering new talent that has been lost in the system.
Premier Football UK works closely with coaches, scouts, agents and club representatives
from professional clubs in Europe and worldwide and aim to have an international presence at our trial events, all of whom are representatives of clubs in search of undiscovered talent.
Participants will be taken through training sessions similar to those run at professional clubs and will end the day with a match. Each participant will be evaluated by our staff technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.
Our record speaks for itself: Premier Football UK has had more players signed at Premier League Clubs than any other football trial organisation. Why are we based in Staffordshire University?
Stanley Matthews Sports Centre is not only ideally located to attract players from all over The UK it is also convenient for scouts, coaches, managers, and club representatives to attend. The feedback we have received from scouts has been that being located in one place increases the quality of players, this means that theyare more likely to attend than if they have to travel to multiple events around the country.
Premier Football UK has been established for 8 years and has an unrivalled record of getting players signed. In this time we have built a substantial network and can guarantee that scouts will be attending. We have had more players signed at Premier League and Football League clubs than any other independent trial organisation.
Staffordshire University is less than 150 miles from nearly every leading Premier League and Football League Club in the country. It is close to Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Stoke, Nottingham and only 1 hour and 20 mins from London.

Goalkeeper and Player Assessment:
Although each club may be looking for different attributes, certain positions, or a player of a certain age, Premier Football UK Staff will provide independent assessment forms for each player. We have a proven record of getting players signed and if we see potential in a player we will recommend them to a club. All players will be contacted by Premier Football UK within a week following the trial.
What is the process of getting identified?
On registration each player will be given a numbered bib.The players’ details are given to all coaches, scouts, agents and club representatives before the football programme starts. Interested coaches, scouts, agents and club representatives will contact the player/parent/guardian directly or inform Premier Football UK Staff who will then contact the player/parent/guardian.
What happens if you are not selected by a club?
It’s important to remember that not all players are an overnight success. For 8 years we have helped players beat the odds. Dale Eve was not invited back to trial at Mansfield Town, Burton Albion or Nottingham Forest before he was signed on a two-year scholarship at Stoke City. Ajdin Hrustic was rejected by Nottingham Forest, Stoke City, Derby County and Notts County before signing a professional contract with FC Groningen. These players are perfect examples that determination and persistence are vital attributes to becoming a professional footballer.
Why do we video the trial event?
As you will have noticed we have not only had players signed within the UK but also worldwide. We therefore video the trial event and pass it to coaches, scouts, agents, and club representatives around the world. We are continuously developing links with coaches, scouts, agents, and club representatives globally, and we are proud of our record of getting players signed both in the UK and worldwide.
